Full Mouth & Bite Reconstruction
Full-mouth reconstruction, sometimes called rehabilitation or rejuvenation, is the individual recreation of each tooth in a mouth. Full-mouth rehabilitation is needed when the teeth are worn down, broken, missing or if you experience pain in the jaw joint.
If these kinds of things are causing problems in both the bite and
appearance of your mouth, then you should consider this procedure.
Full mouth rehabilitation utilizes current state-of-the-art technologies to reshape and rebuild one's teeth, gums and surrounding areas
and correct imperfections in bite position. Full mouth rehabilitation begins with the gums, the foundation for the teeth and the rest of the mouth. Combining the science of Neuromuscular Dentistry with the artistry of Cosmetic Dentistry, Full Mouth Rehabilitation creates a smile that is functional, comfortable and beautiful -- that allows
you, the patient to enjoy the confidence and attractiveness you have always desired.
Advances in dental technologies allow us to do impressive cosmetic reconstructions and to make them more painless than ever before. A significant portion of the procedure involves the dentist deciding an appropriate course of action individualized for the patient's particular needs. During this phase, we at our clinic use sophisticated tools to measure mouth formation.
We will help you decide an appropriate treatment plan. This is where the full mouth rehabilitation specialty really shines. Though the specific techniques may vary depending on your needs, we will ensure that the end result is the same - a lovely smile and a more confident you.
How It's Done
Using advanced technology, we measure your jaw's muscle function in both
stressed and relaxed positions. If an imbalance is determined -- we will
properly align the jaw and rebuild damaged teeth with porcelain
dental crowns, veneers and dental restorations (fillings). Jaw position is typically corrected. Depending on the patient, prosthesis may be used -- that can raise or lower the bite to achieve the most comfortable jaw position. With this correction, you experience decreased or eliminated pain and discomfort, and better overall health and function.
The result is an attractively enhanced smile using durable materials that will stand the tests of time.
